I've been wanting to go Japan
talked about it, always put off the thought due to past commitments
always been told in the past that it would cost alot
that its something that we will strife towards in the future
blah blah blah...
all a load of bullshit.
but that doesn't matter now
cos I am going this mid year
i don't need to depend on her anymore to make such decisions
and unlike her, D is happy to travel and enjoy life to the fullest. :D
oh oh, so exciting, i'm finally going japan!
can I say it again?
I am going japan,
and i know there is no way i can jinx it this time
cos i know D is dependable
and i can, and will, no matter what

Wa... Just came back from a holiday trip and you are planning for another one... You sure am rich!!
But then again reading your blog.. I wouldn't agree fully to what you say about the person who look far into the future. If it was me, I would do the same and plan for the future too. Been to Japan with my parents and it really did cost a bomb! Per night in the hotel was at least $600. That was crazy. Can you believe the other expenses....
I've gotten encouragement to go cos many of my friends said if you prepare 3k per person its more than enough. Working hard and saving for a future should be a good balance esp for your own sanity, most traveling should be done young. With all the money in the world without the zeal and energy, you can't buy time back. Its gonna be different traveling when you're still in your 20s and later when you're retired and 50s! Ha!
I've come to know that money can't buy you time and youth, health and moments that are missed can never be brought back. You only live once! :D
3k per person.. Well then perhaps when you are there you ought to think twice or thrice about what you can buy.. you have to see what kind of holiday you are planning for. If its a budget holiday then yes im sure 3k is enough. For you to say 3k only. It sure means you do not have loans and bills stack on your plates to take care of that's why you say that..and you sure am earning quite alot... Many of my friends just work so hard just to make ends meet.. I guess you are lucky!....
